Nice, Roger,
Do you by any chance know which classics are unique to being saved
through the Myriobiblos of Saint Photius?

Not off-hand. But we can get a fair idea by looking at the online
text and seeing how many of the codices discuss now lost works (a lot
of them):

His book is a series of reviews and long abstracts, tho.

Great work!
i'd be curious to know what you've found about Herodotus; i used this
author very much in my investigation on greek tyrants.

You're very kind. I don't have any information on Herodotus yet. I
wish I did.

I've now updated that page with information on the mss of Herodotus.
There's a fair number of papyri (none before the 1st century AD), but
the usual collection of medieval codices really supply the text.
Now working on the Odyssey.
