I believe that all Theists (i.e. more Theist than Atheist, since
all mortal men are at least part Atheist, obviously) are looking
forward to seeing the film and to its overall impact on audiences
nationwide. If it has even half the impact that Mel Gibson's 'The
Passion' had, 'Expelled' will no doubt foment heated controversy,
to say the least. Beyond that, we'll just have to wait and see...
That said, I was somewhat disappointed in Gibson's interpretation
of Christ's crucifixion, if for no other reason, than for how the
Roman soldiers were portrayed, undisciplined, rabidly insane, etc.
Roman soldiers may have been a lot of things, some of them insane,
sadistic, etc., but rest assured, discipline was the rule not the
exception. And I had several other complaints about 'The Passion',
but the point is until I actually watch 'Expelled', I'm loathe to
comment on it. So far, I like what I've heard about Expelled, but
I remember liking what I heard about 'The Passion' until I saw it.
Even if 'Expelled' turns out to be better and more successful than
anyone's wildest imagination, what decisive effect will it have on
the (since 1947) hard-line Atheist U.S. Government's Atheist public
school system? Will it have any effect on students or their parents?
Based on what I've seen so far, Americans are generally milquetoast,
lackadaisical, complacent, easily-manipulated/controlled ad nauseam.
Not all, obviously, but apparently the majority of Americans simply
don't care about anything but materialism, worldly wealth and power.
Americans literally worship money, which by strict definition makes
them hard-core Anti-Christian Atheists, i.e., pathological sinners.
So even though 'Expelled' might do well at the box office, and DVDs,
etc, I seriously doubt it will have much effect on the vast majority
of Americans. Ben Stein & Co. seem hopeful that 'Expelled' will gain
traction, and strongly influence America's public school curriculum.
Sounds good & looks promising, but the bible clearly says otherwise,
i.e. that the hard-line Atheists will not repent, to the bitter end,
that only global Armageddon facilitates the required changing of the
guard, thus brings the return of the Son of Man with the Dark clouds,
all just like the bible says. And based on what I've seen of Atheists,
I believe the bible & other prophecies touch the thing with a needle.
I don't believe it's possible for an Atheist to repent, not even for
the CHRINOs. Atheists are too self-aggrandizing & mammon-worshipping
to recognize just how hideously evil they are. Their ego prevents it.
Meanwhile, I hope that 'Expelled' has a profound impact on audiences,
and that it incites bellicose contention between Theists Vs. Atheists.
Maybe the total collapse of America's economy will help things along?
Armageddon Cometh,

Turns out that the "Expelled" producer expelled one of the
evolutionary biologists that he lied into being interviewed for
the movie. A biologist who got tickets for the screening like
everyone else--he applied for them on-line, using his own name.
The biologist was "Expelled" from the screening; but his guest
got in. His guest is also an evolutionary biologist. The guest
was also interviewed for the movie under false pretenses.
It's very, very interesting who the second evolutionary biologist
is. :-)

"Flunked, not expelled: What Ben Stein isn't telling you about
Intelligent Design."
Those liars for Jesus over at the Discovery Institute make me ashamed be
a Christian and to be associated with them. :-P
