One of many surprises that NZ offered was a unique full scale copy of the
Bayeux Tapestry in mosaic form. Recreated  over 20 years using 20,000,000
small pieces of spring steel and painted by hand with a tiny brush. The
creator, Michael Linton and his daughter Rachael spent a further five years
researching and creating a speculative replacement for the missing final
panels.
