"Bad luck to you!"

How ignoble.

And that is to a fellow Scots who has not insulted him other than the
minimal warranted retorts.

Highcolander is hitting the bottle big time and posting this Christmas
weekend.

He doesn't take rejection well at all.

It's curious to see a big loser that has not yet learned to lose.

He has been spurned comtemptuously in public and now he is showing the
rancor characteristic of losers resentful at the universe for having to be
himself.

Do you know what's good for a hangover, loverboy?

Drinking heavily the night before.

You have all that to look forward to.

Not quite 'nuff...

I feel it my duty to add "well, it takes one to know one..."

Not perhaps in the spirit of this season of 'goodwill to all men', but there are
limits. Besides, I am a Pagan...

Shouldn't you be celebrating saturn something or other or the shortest
day of the year, and so on?

The Economist had an article about five years ago describing the Roman
celebrations as essentially being the same as what is done nowadays.
They emphasized gifts and brotherliness, etc. I'm watching NFL football
right now and it makes me wonder if they had their "games" at that time
of year, too.

Orbital & rotational greetings,

"Nuff said"?  Oh God, if only that were true!

Hines, I guess someone has to tell you, and it might as well be me,
because in Scotland there is a widely held belief that when someone is
a horse's arse, the sooner he hears about it; the sooner he can start
working on mending his ways - you are a BORE!

Not just your common or garden bore, but a full-blown, unstoppable,
dreary, Fuckwitless Bore for the Ages (with oak leaves.)

Mind you, you do have competition.

However Piglath ruins his chances by talking of nothing but his
boring, disease-shrivelled genitalia and fantasy conquests, while I've
seen brighter creatures than Renia, (the Severn Bore), lying at the
bottom of ponds.

You also have strong team competition from SHM, who have some
potentially major bores already trying out on scs. But as of 25
December, 2006, you are without doubt a Bore par Excellence with the
additional strength of Coma-Inducing Potential.

I have no doubt that once you have been talent-spotted, you will be
invited to bore for the US at the Summer Olympics, and given your
performances here, I think you'll almost inevitably win every medal
offered, plus whatever you can cheat the judges out of, as they topple
over with boredom during your unstoppable attempt for Olympic Gold.

Think it over - after all, we at scs have nothing but your best
interests at heart - we are particularly interested in how much longer
the heart of an utterly boring, 67 year old w.nker is likely to last.

Yes, in this case you are right.
I know everything there is to know about being boring.
This man has me outclassed in every department.
You are so wise.

Robert, I know this will come as a terrible shock, but occasionally I
post as many as two or even three posts without mentioning or thinking
of you.

However, I must hand you a bouquet for your manly admission that when
it comes to being a bore, you are a mere "also ran" second-stringer.

The reference to an utterly boring, 67 year old w.nker was not about
you, but a smack at Hines. However, in order to avoid you feeling left
out, I'll try to work you in when I deliver my next anti-Hines smack.

God, there's much ego around here that I can barely breathe...

Would you like me to translate this into German so you can savour all
its nuances?

How old is the Highcolander?  In his seventies at least, judging by the
senility he displays.

For an old geezer of failing faculties to comment on other people's age is
well...  senile.

Michelin had Usenet almost all to himself on Christmas day.   He ran
unopposed as normal folks had families to rejoice the holiday with.

His venom glands took no holiday, and continued to define this nasty,
horrible piece of work.

> God, there's much ego around here that I can barely breathe...

Some egos even compel the slave they drive to claim things like being a
ferocious Foreign Legion legionnaire, and  the love dream of their
brigadier's wife.

The same person can't even pull a white-trashy, old porker to have lunch
with him.

A reliable source tells me he's a card-carrying member of the AARP, been one
for decades, in fact.

The organization's been hoping in private that one day soon he kick the
bucket, as he's by far their biggest consumer of prescription drug services.

After 1961 many were not the same and it caused much bitterness among many,
the 27 of December was a black day when we had to pursue the traitorous
"Harkis".  For one who was there at that time as the Highlander claims then
December is a black month indeed, especially when one is alone with a bottle
of "Dimple" or Schnapps in a darkened room.

The butchery was most savage and the reprisals most extreme, it was a
difficult time.

Much as their sense of ridicule dulled over the years has taken a hiding it
could not ignored with the Vancouver dinner fracas, they would be right to
feel as though they cut their losses.    Had they met, they BOTH would have
had direct knowledge of each other, which neither of them felt would be in
safe, trustworthy hands.  And they were right, for it would have been a
matter of a short time before either or both would have narrated and
commented what they saw and heard.

The Highcolander must look like his been beaten savagely with the ugly
stick, for though he post pictures where he claims to be himself they are
always fakes.  The man must have wrinkles in the wrinkles and be an awkward
shape.  Were he not, he would have posted plenty of photos, given his
boasting nature.

As to the Nilita the signs indicate no better.

exactly. they are two peas in a pod.

for me it's not so much of age. Heck, we're all old more or less.
Looks are the issue either. Some young guys are Ugly physically and
emotionally. I've have also drooled to date some hot 60 year olds who
has a filled black book.  LA is the land of the gyms. Heck, there are
5 gyms within a mile radius. Two of them I can walk to!

Anyway, what bugs me is the hypocrisy when cranky old people (that
would be nil=0 and highcumer)call others old, ugly, immature, vile. I
would be funny would it not be the utter and complete denial of these
two.

BTW, I think I've seen a picture of you.. :) And renia is very very
pretty. and so is Sheila too. You're definitely are better looking
than highcumer.

>As to the Nilita the signs indicate no better.

I have no idea what she looks like.  She says a lot of her but her
pictures are not to be found.

Do not bother with translations, give us all a rendition of that Legion
favorite "Stille Nacht".  It is the festive season after all and you would
remember how boring Christmas Day was in Algeria.  My favorite Carol of all
time and much loved by many.

Boy, have you ever got that wrong! Christmas Day was the biggest
