Divided We Stand
The Associated Press reports that some Democrats have come to the
realization that division over Iraq could lead to defeat. No, it's not what
you think:
Two leading Senate Democrats sought to build support Sunday for a
bipartisan resolution opposing President Bush's war strategy in Iraq,
cautioning that division over whether the measure goes far enough could
spell defeat.
"The worst thing we can do is to vote on something which is critical of
the current policy and lose it," said Sen. Carl Levin, chairman of the
Senate Armed Services Committee. "The public doesn't support his policy; a
majority of the Congress doesn't support his policy."
"If we lose that vote, the president will use the defeat of a resolution
as support for his public policy," said Levin, D-Mich.
Levin doesn't want to see his party defeated. As for the country, that's
another matter.

No, he doesn't want the policy to continue, and is using the most
astute means to change it. As for the country, the polls have Bush
lower than Nixon--Levin has more support than Bush.

Americans are so divided that if we are attacked on our soil, again, we
will fight each other rather than uniting. The radical Muslims know
this. It is just a matter of time before we have massive attacks on US
soil. Everything you see in Iraq will happen in the US against people
like yourself. Good chance that most democrats will just surrender
like the French did when faced with the Nazis....

So what you are really saying is that YOU are mentally ill - like all
liberals - and that you are a coward who would surrender if we were
attacked....

You sound like an hysterical little twat who is projecting his own
cowardice.
I'm in central Colorado if you would like to see what I do when attacked.

Sounds good, but I haven't been over that way in years. What's the hunting
like over there?

No, what he's really saying, if you could only understand, is that you are a
raving lunatic and should be on medication..........

Congratulations for perpetuating the very thing you don't like seeing in
your precious group. You complain about "americrap" and post that complaint
to:
Newsgroups: alt.history.british,sci.military.naval,soc.culture.scottish,
soc.history.medieval,us.military.army
Yup. That's a good way to keep the noise level down.

Auk! auk! What else would you expect from a bimbo? Eh?
Mind you, I wasn't the one who complained originally. Since I only replied
to the original poster, what does that make you?
FUs set to exclude scs

The one who tried to get the thread back to scs and away from all the other
groups.
That would make you the one who dragged it back out again.

If you had only left it alone, Spanky ....

The war is already lost. Hines and his fascist friends have managed to
bring the US to its knees, economically, militarily and spiritually.
Democracy and the rule of law never had a chance.
