Earthquake Shakes Southern England
Updated: 18:25, Saturday April 28, 2007
Sky News

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 has damaged homes and disrupted power
supplies in southern England.

Fifty houses are so badly damaged that residents have been told they cannot
return to them.

The British Geological Survey placed the epicentre of the quake 7.5 miles
off the Dover coast.

Householders as far afield as East Sussex, Essex and Suffolk said they felt
the tremor....

It's the Muslims.   Their sheer numbers are
pressing down on the English land, causing
perturbations in the earth's crust!

Then there are their curses.. calling down the Wrath of Allah on the
English, specifically.

There are only two solutions: either export
them all or ladle contraceptive (the Jason
Fix) down the throats of their women.

Or perhaps a third; the Ghandi Solution which
involves setting up booths throught England
containing Vas Deferens snipping machinery.
Press gangs, left over from the maritime age,
could be utilized to round up all their
"angry young men" (aren't they all?) of the
Muslim persuasion, and giving them all the
*quick fix*.    Well, it worked in India, and
it's cheaper than education.

It might be *gauche* to mention a fourth
alternative involving mass exportation to
Scotland, where the messianic manic Muslims
could intermarry with the dour Scots so
producing children of temperamental
equipoise.

Excellent Solutions All...

But I particularly like this one:

Yes, the financial consideration is extremely important.

We need to leave something for the Scots when they take over completely --
and a Full Treasury is one of them.

Thank you, you are most welcome.  It is clear
that engineers, and practical people of this
sort, will be the salvation of this world.
There are those that talk, and those who
*act*.

Perhaps the snipping process could be
extended to the legal profession (the world's
second oldest) because these make up the bulk
of the political rabble.  I fear that
lawyers, having been around since Cain & Abel
have developed traits which have been
inculcated into the human DNA.  If this trait
were expunged therefrom then a new Elysium
might dawn upon the earth.

Spot On!

Some of the best folks I've ever known, including my father, were
engineers...

Aeronautical in his case.

Lawyers do have their uses, one of my children is in that profession and
enjoys it.

But there are indeed many frauds and charlatans among the mass of them.

Earthquake Shakes Southern England eh? Won't be as big as the political
earthquake on Thursday.

"Small earthquake near London - no one hurt"

There was a bigger one of Shetland at the start of the year. It didn't
make the news headlines, though. Shetland's a bit too far away from
London to be newsworthy.
