Drip, Drip, Drip...

Barak Hussein Obama has by no means survived the Pastor Disaster, in fact
the chickens are just coming home to roost.

The New Pastor at the Obama Church is preaching along the same lines as
Jeremiah Wright -- but Obama has locked his feet in concrete* and stayed in
the Church.

Stay Tuned...

We'll See How This Turns Out.

Clinton: Wright 'would not have been my pastor'

By Mike Wereschagin and David M. Brown
Pittsburgh TRIBUNE-REVIEW

Tuesday, March 25, 2008

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, in a wide-ranging interview today with
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reporters and editors, said she would have left
her church if her pastor made the sort of inflammatory remarks Sen. Barack
Obama's former pastor made.

"He would not have been my pastor," Clinton said. "You don't choose your
family, but you choose what church you want to attend."

Obama's lead in national polls has slipped since clips of the retired Rev.
Jeremiah Wright began being played on national news programs. The uproar
prompted Obama to give a wide-ranging speech on race in America a week ago.
The Clinton campaign has refrained from getting involved in the controversy,
but Clinton herself, responding to a question, denounced what she said was
"hate speech."

"You know, I spoke out against Don Imus (who was fired from his radio and
television shows after making racially insensitive remarks), saying that
hate speech was unacceptable in any setting, and I believe that," Clinton
said. "I just think you have to speak out against that. You certainly have
to do that, if not explicitly, then implicitly by getting up and moving."
story continues below

Clinton's 90-minute interview covered topics from pledged delegates to Iraq.
Among her statements this morning:

On saying last week that she landed under sniper fire during a trip to
Bosnia in 1996, when she was first lady:

"I was sleep-deprived, and I misspoke."

• On superdelegates:

"The governor from Tennessee (Phil Bredesen) suggested that there be a
convention of superdelegates, and I think that it is an intriguing idea. I
have not considered it long enough to have an opinion on it."

On the possibility of Gov. Ed Rendell becoming her running mate:

"It's premature to say that I would have Gov. Rendell, but I have a lot of
regard for the governor."

• On Social Security:

"We need to have a bipartisan commission much like President Reagan and Tip
O'Neill had in the '80s where they worked together, and we have lived off of
those efforts. But we need to do something now. One of the caveats that I
would have is that people that are presently on Social Security or about to
go on Social Security not be affected."

• On so-called earmarks, which are congressional appropriations to specific
institutions:

"I am proud of my earmarks," she said sarcastically. "Part of the reason
that I won New York by 67 percent are my earmarks."

Hi,

The problem the democrats have is that the damage has been done by Rev
Wright?, if he really is a minister. Based upon the comments he made
along with the interpretation, independents who are not of Obama's
ethnic group (meaning white) are now concerned. For example, if Obama
were elected, would that mean that Black Power and Black Panthers
would come back again, and when the national guard is called to
restore order, he would give a speech and say let's be friends?

Although, I am 45, I still remember the 1960's when my father, mother,
sister, and I returned from my Great Grandmothers funeral in black
earth, WI (a community south of Madison) to Wauwatosa (a western
suburb of Milwaukee), we had to go through a national guard check
point because downtown Milwaukee was burning and martial law was
declared in Milwaukee county. Although, Obama says the campaign is not
about race, his minister and his latent support have made it so, about
race and black panther power as it appears to some people who are not
black. I do not want to live in that society where I have go through a
national guard check point because some fools think social change
occurs with malatov cocktails, afros, and raised fist. Secondly, no
race has the right to lecture another race, I have observed errors in
all.

So, to the democratic party, both Hilliary and especially Obama (who
are your supporters, please note "Where you at" and "were you be" is
not acceptable in an office environment as some supporters of Rev.
Wrights group might speak) we are not interested in your false
pretenses and false resume's of foreign policy experience. What we are
interested is in your strategy, leadership, and planning ability to
solve current problems of the country and to plan for sustaining the
country in the future. By the way, to both of you, the RED PHONE ad is
really negative to me, if I have to worry which one of you is going to
answer the red phone (actually it is a teletype, the original
hotline), it means both of you have failed as president because you
would have sacrificed the people of this country for your own egos.

It's simple.

Right now it's between a less stupid version of Bush who is affiliated
with a ranting racist rapture evangelist, a lying incompetent who
screws up everything she touches, and a guy who belongs to a church
that had a ranting racist a.shole as a pastor who he considers a good
friend and mentor.

What could be more American?
