Real character would have taken a stand not directly linked to a knee-jerk revenge action. In particular they would have made heroes out of the people who willingly sacrificed themselves on board the plane heading for the White House. If not for them GWB would not be around today and the world would be run by Halliburton. Why wouldn't GWB be around today? He was 1000's of kilometers away at the time and shortly thereafter disappeared into his own rathole until assured that he was safe from the bad men. Art, get off it! True, I don't like the guy. He's too damn liberal! But one thing Bush has in spades is character.
