From the Great Separation to the 21st Century

by Mark Vorberg

The Great Separation, in which proto-Whites left Africans behind, was
a turning point in the upward evolution of Man. Have we reached
another (downward) turning point?

Only the most ambitious of the early humans in Africa possessed the
curiosity to venture beyond their "comfort zone" and migrate out of
the continent in search of new adventures and opportunities. It was
this northward migration that exposed our progenitors to the new
climates and environments that would guide their evolution. This was
the historic moment that signaled the future birth of our race and all
its advancements -- and the relatively backward nature of those tribes
who remained in the tropics.

Leaving their predecessors behind, the fledgling stock pushed onward.
Changing selection pressures would favor those mutations that bestowed
upon the new stock reasoning abilities, deductive thinking, and logic.
These traits would be necessary in order for the new breed of man, the
White man, to survive the colder climates to the north.

Well, you're half right.  Trouble is, you've called upon science
to support your views on the "White Race" without considering
the full range of science.  In a nutshell, you're relying on those
parts of science that help your views, while disregarding that
science which tempers your racial pride.

Genetic mutations are necessarily the driving force behind
natural selection, and science shows us that mutations occur
more frequently in temperate and arctic zones, where the
Earth's atmosphere is naturally thinner.  More energetic particles
hit the Earth at higher latitudes, and energetic particles are a
primary force for mutating genes.  By a quirk of evolution, as
primates moved into northern climes, they began to experience
more frequent mutations, which increased their chances of
adapting to the environment.

One of these mutations was pinker skin rather than browner
skin.  This adaptation allowed primates access to camoflauge
when evading predators in a snowy landscape, and as a side
benefit, less melanin in the skin meant less radiation of internal
heat, so the pale-skin mutation succeeded in colder climates.

Just as nothing happens in a vaccum, no single genetic
mutation affects only a single trait.  The mutation that brought
paler skin also brought blue and green irises in eyes, freckles,
and a higher incidence of albinism (albinos).  It ushered in
a genetic environment where shorter people would be more
successful, due to lower skin surface area/kg of weight.

But as much as i study science, i can't find any evidence
that paler-skinned people have greater abilities in "reasoning
abilities, deductive thinking, and logic".  Before you go thinking
that you're superior to darker-skinned people, consider that the
mutation which gives you pale skin also makes you more
susceptible to various cancers, more likely to suffer from
diabetes, and more likely to have psychological troubles.

I'm sure that you're aware of the tiny rate of suicide among
US blacks vs. US whites, right?  Even though US black leaders
claim that their row is tougher to hoe, you don't see them offfing
themselves like lemmings, do you?  Why is that?

Allright, so in the 40 years of African Independence since
the colonial era faded, they've made a real mess of the place.
Rampant AIDS, use of mass murder and mass rape as tools
of political power, and incessant famine.  But did whites do
much better in running the place?  No.

For that matter, did whites do any better in running Europe
from 500 to 1300 AD?

No.  Just less rape, but more murder.

Consider that and get back to me with your newly adjusted
world-view, OK?

I enjoyed the unabridged audio cassette tapes borrowed from a public
library of this unusual book, which is pertinent to ...almost any thing
ya can think about,  including stuff in biology, anthropology, history,
geography--take a look at the touts & reviews here and at
