re: composing museums exhibit guide
I am ignorant of interpretative manual writing as such; but from my
tourist/consumer perspective, here's what I would emphasize/implement
after I did the write-ups of the exhibits composition.:
I like the concept in the London Big Red (touring) Bus plug-in audio
cassette in various languages: English, French, German, Japanese,
Spanish, etal.
The more languages, the more patronage potential.
B-t-w: For only $5 U.S., Walmart today sells two-battery (double A)
driven audio cassette players with earphones.
So, the technology is amazingly inexpensive.
I recall in the 1960s when I paid $50 for a Sony (?) or maybe it was a
3M cassette recorder/player.
So, some fun is getting your terrific narrative presentation script
read in each language--perhaps by foreign language teachers and via
persons with native vernacular skill at a nearby university or
wherever.
p.s. For an interested party who may see this note someday after
perhaps running a dimple MUSEUM EXHIBIT search:
I hold a simple but unpatentable overall travelling or portable
exhibits museum concept for the theme/exhibit of nearly any
thing--paintings, sculptures, model trains, textiles, whatever.

Great ideas, Robert! I never would have thought of that! See what you
get when you ask? ;-).
