Islam on line is interesting to me, especially for what it (seems to)
downplays.

It has an internal search facility, and I did get 126+ "Sudan" hits.

Now I can't make it click again: It did allow me that first search.

Try it for yourself, and prove I'm spouting b.s//distortion or whatever
you perceive.

Its last/newest "Sudan" topic/article was in September, 2005, though
not about Darfur per se (as I try to recall).

So far as its reporting space about Israel-Palestine:

If it happenes today, it's being reported at IOL.

Anything ugly having to do with deathly inter-conflict.

I'll be looking at Islam on line (which is fortunately in English) to
see how many horns of demonization they put onto the zionists' heads.

I'm not so shocked, shocked; and I'll be looking at their website some
more to seek further insight into what IOL slant of reality is.

By-the-way: Here is what slanted reality is to me:

4,500 Jews-Moslems totally have allegedly killed by both sides during
Intifadas of past 6 or so years.

200,000--400,000 Darfur Moslems have been allegedly killed by Moslems
within past 3 years, sometimes allegedly accompanied with racist
insults/taunts.

This comment is about the stirring-up of anti-zionist hostility.

If I were a columnist, here's what I'd preach about, and thus this
note.

So long as the ISLAM ON LINEs and the AL JAZEERAs play-up  the
awfulnesses of Israel-Palestine and of Iraq, though
refrain from closely/honestly informing
the street Arab/Moslem/Persian as well as update the literate,
better-educated
of the alleged genocide of Darfur, then I can't envision a good outcome
for the Middle East/the World.

Moslems should also be morally outraged/concerned/discussing
of what ensues in Darfur; but (apparently) generally  they're actually
unaware.

This is the year 2005: They have tv sets, radios, and presses.

Of there is Moslem introspection & thus self-criticism, then I can
envision a changing, progressing, adaptive Middle East.

Real reform is not happening, though ISLAM ON LINE and AL JAZEERA
should at least try to do what ethical/honorable/well-informed
journalists do.

Scape-goating of the Jews is nothing new, and it's why (imho)  that a
modern Israel exists.
