True. My question assumed facts not in evidence in my post.
But I think that the record is pretty clear that she was either stunningly
ignorant or that she willfully blinded herself to the fact that she
supported murderous Islamist terrorists. And I think her death, while
unfortunate, was due to her own negligence and has been cynically
manipulated by the terrorists (and their supporters) she so loved. She was,
in so many ways, the epitome of the Useful Idiot.
Therefore, I see little to admire in her.

Oh yes. Her death continues to be cynically manipulated by terrorist savages
and their supporters.

Cynicism originally was open-mindedness, not quitting on hope, not
pessimism.
All deaths are unfortunate, unless we believe in martyrdom, Christian or
not;
or unless we believe that hope springs eternal, as perennial flowers tell.
She did not try to support terrorists. She tried to support children.
That child should have been the pride of every honest parent.
The Holy Land is most holy in that it shows our bigotry.
Rachel Corrie was neither ignorant nor negligent.
She gave her life attending to all she could.
But bigots do manipulate her memory.
I hope that child springs eternal,
as I hope we all shall do
