The most depressing fact today: 600 More days in office

B.T.World - 30 May 2007 06:15 GMT Our terrible unresponsive political system will allow the main war criminals, Bush and Cheney, to stay in office for another 600 days, another incredible 600 days.
That means 600 x at least 4 a day on average = 2400 more dead and countless more maimed and injured. This does not address the tens of thousands of Afghans and Iraqis that will be killed in the next 600 days, in their own countries, resisting the western invaders/ occupiers.
If they still conspire and dare to execute a surprise and horrible bombing war on Iran, the total number of dead in Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran will exceed the one-million mark.

Why will you have no problem? Because you're a driveling, cowardly follower-type who needs the authoritarian "leadership" that even a broke and morally bankrupt republican party can supply to you.

That's how it is today....Maybe bush,jr can pull a rabbit out of his hat...
...but going on past performance he will bury himself and our country deeper in the hole he's dug

2008 will be Republican all the way. Of course, the Democrats will whine and scream that we stole the election again.
Lame excuses. That's what the Dems have to offer.

Today, Democrats are running from their party at record numbers. The Democrats promised soooooo many things and have delivered NOTHING. The people who voted them into office see this and in 2008, because of this, the Republican party will have many, many new Ex-Democrats voting Republican.
After the 2008 elections, the Republican party will again run the entire country.
Billery is the Republican party's best advertiser. I hope she continues to run her mouth just as she does now.

You're a pessimist. Look on the bright side...if today's soldiers had the same equipment and medical treatment from the days of the Vietnam War, there'd be triple, quadruple the number dead if not more. Now we keep the men alive with head wounds and amputations in record numbers instead of them dying.
Years from now these current Max Cleland's will be mocked by Republicans that supported the war but had other priorities. The mockers will be the true patriots, the true flag wavers holding the banner of the American way.
