The Monica Lewinsky scandal became public in January 1998. It is
unfortunate that Bill and Hillary did not ride off into the sunset at
that time--thus sparing us from the disastrous policies of the current
occupant of the White House. Today, New Hampshire voters have the
opportunity of telling Billary exactly where to go.

If Clinton had just said: Yes, I did it. I had sex with her. I'm
sorry, none of the ensuing mudbath would have happened. And GWB would
never have been elected. And Al Gore would be running for relection
this year.

I agree, Al Gore would have been elected in 2000, and he would be
completing his eighth year as president. Moreover, the National
Security staff, unhampered by clueless Condoleezza Rice, might have
been able to connect the dots prior to the 9/11 attacks (as alluded to
in the books by Richard Clarke, Michael Scheuer, et al.)

I would also like to add the following from page 265 of "The 9/11
Commission Report," Authorized Edition, W. W. Norton:

"There is a dispute regarding Ashcroft's interest in [Acting FBI
Director] Pickard's briefings about the terrorist threat situation.
Pickard told us that after two such briefings Ashcroft told him that
he did not want to hear about the threats anymore. Ashcroft denies
Pickard's charge."

I'm not sure. Some Americans are really nosy about people's private
lives. And object more about to, say, "marital infidelities" than to a
declaration of war for bogus reasons.
Never forget that violence on prime time tv is perfectly acceptable
for most Americans but the view of naked breasts is still considered
dirty, sick and pornographic.

Well, Clinton was still very popular at the end of his mandate, wasn't
he?
I think Gore's mistake was precisely to distance himself from Clinton.

Hi,

To be honest I would rather have a guy in charge that likes a BJ, then
one whos run the economy into the ground, ruined Americas reputation
abroad, spent $1 Trillion on a war that our grandkids are still going
to be paying for and done the most to sour middle eastern/western
relationships then anyone on the planet.

Your right though all he had to say was sorry, yes I got a BJ and then
we wouldnt have the mess we are in now.

I remember watching all the puritan witch hunt on TV in England,
overseas they thought the republicans had gone crazy, like they were
going to start throwing stones at the moon and drowning ginger kids
next, it was laughable, very embarresing to watch.

Thanks

Agreed, there's something hideous and phony about the Clintons. Our "First
Trailer Trash Family" ? But Bush and
his chronnies have pushed things over the edge. I think we
are teetering on a Depression and nothing may save millions
of people. The common denominator is exploitation, from
the Right and the Left and the Middle! I feel like a phony TV
ad that has been cancelled.

You don't function in reality. America is not on the verge of a Depression.
You know nothing about history to say such a thing. How are the conditions
in America similar to 1930?
