The DemonCraps have controlled the purse strings for two years??? Why
are the deficits still going up??? After two years of Republican
control of the House under Klinton, we had a budget surplus!!

The *Feel-good* legislation for the SPR? It's just that. The SPR was
restored to the pre-Katrina levels in March. Also, the Bush
administration was moving an average of 20K bbls a day to the SPR.

Your delusions that the right has done anything for Americans is just that.
At least you admit that Clinton left Bush such a huge surplus that he
quickly blew away and now our children will be picking up the tab for
generations to come. It must really suck to be a republican these days.

2.  Obstructionist Republicans in Congress.

It's like that "trust fund" for Social Security. The capitol is used to fake
the numbers when balancing the phony budget by that accountant

"Your children" are saddled with the debt, because people like you talk a
good story, but when the rubber hits the road, are not willing to do
anything to even try to stop the government from spending more than it
receives.  And unless we are willing to convince our politicans not to spend
more than they receive, for many many years in a row, you are not going to
solve the problem.  For isntance.  We are in the midst of voting for the
next President of the United States.  Which one has pledged to balance the
budget (or at least try to) in all four years they are the President.  Which
one has pledged to support a Balanced Budget Amendment.  Which one has
pledged to reduce the size of the national debt while they are the
President.  Have you bothered to find out?  Have you sent them an email
saying what the heck is your plan to balance the budget, or to pledge to
push for a Balanced Budget Amendment?

You are of the delusion that the debt created by the present administration
could even come close to any balance. America is currently so screwed any
promises are the least of anyone's concern. Getting out from under the
deepening recession and keeping many of their homes is the greatest concern.
War crime spending is next along with affordable healthcare and jobs. The
screw up of America is not the fault of any "people like" myself. People
that were used to the good old says when the previous administration could
be trusted to provide true growth and job creation. Those days seem like a
lifetime away thanks to the criminal right that squandered not only the good
name of America but any hope of good times returning for as far as the
imagination can comprehend. The blame is all on leadership that should have
never been. The leadership that lied America into a war of distraction and
false claims that the terrorists that struck on 911 would be hunted down and
brought to account.

There is no listening to any people these days and no amount of emails and
letters will change any of that. Our children will be saddled with debt
because of reckless over spending and tax relief during wartime to the ones
that need it the least. What do you suggest people can do to convince
criminals like Bush to change anything? We are in the middle of voting for
the next president and due directly because of the occupation of the worst
leader the nation has ever known it will be all that more necessary to
choose a liberal. Simply because there are no conservatives anywhere to be
found. Why has not the right offered one? The promise of a balanced budget
will be assumed a done deal by the proof that it happened with a liberal and
will never happen with a Bush clone that has promised nothing but more war
for 100 years.

Who in the government have you emailed?

More fantasies. When Clinton was elected the market was around 2000. When he
left office it was around 10,000. Bush sees it now at about 12,000. You must

There was no crash until Bush got his hand on the economy. People then knew
exactly when to bail. Do you actually think that what Bush is seeing now it
better than the Clinton days? If you do then you are obviously a bigger
moron than anyone had first noticed.  Do you know that your mommie's house

Proof of any insiders? More lies as usual.

The bubbles that Bush has been blowing are bursting now. You have no one to
blame but yourself and your party who have been in control for 6 years with
a criminal in the WhiteHouse for almost 8 now. That will change soon. You
will still be blaming Clinton while the new government puts back the pieces
you RightTards have left America in.

Every time the Republicans are ready to take the WhiteHouse many see that as
time to make changes for the coming recession. Every recession is caused by
republicans. The enrichment is due to their corruptness and insider trading.
You really must learn to keep up with history.

Do you have any understanding of the absolutely ignorance of your
post? Bush did not force Pelosi to say she had a plan to lower oil
prices. If Pelosi thought the problem was Bush's and out of her
control, perhaps she should not have promised to lower gasoline
prices. Is this simple logic beyond your apparent limited mentality?

>control, perhaps she should not have promised to lower gasoline

Your fascist leader Adolf W. Bush and republicraps are refusing to
join the Democrats to lower gas prices so gas prices continue
climbing:

With record gas prices, record CEO pay packages, and record oil
company profits, Speaker Hastert and the Majority Congress continue to
give the American people empty rhetoric rather than join Democrats who
are working to lower gas prices now.

“Democrats have a commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas
prices by cracking down on price gouging, rolling back the billions of
dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given to
big oil and gas companies, and increasing production of alternative
fuels.”

Key Facts on the Majority’s Failure to Address Gas Prices:

President Bush, Speaker Hastert and the Majority Congress wrote and
passed a Republican energy bill that President Bush’s own Energy
Department said would raise gas prices on American consumers. Big oil
and gas companies wrote the Republican energy bill, and the American
people paid the price.

The Majority rejected imposing tough penalties on price gouging
companies three times in the past year, since that time, gas prices
increased by another 11 cents a gallon.

Speaker Hastert and the Majority have been blocking action on
Congressman Stupak’s Federal Response to Energy Emergencies Act (H.R.
3936) since last September, which would protect American consumers
from high gas prices by empowering the FTC and the DOJ to investigate
and prosecute oil companies engaged in price gouging at each stage of
the energy production and distribution chain and outlaws market
manipulation.

I mean you will pay.     For extra insurance, for higher minimum wage, for
higher social security, for any of her schemes.    You will pay, you can't
go "but, I'm a democrat too!   You can't take from me, take from the evil

I don't mind sharing. I have had a good life and am very happy at this
point. I give away much of my income to many people in need. You can't take
it with you means more and more the older you get. My father worked himself
to death and was proud every day of his life. Taxes always go up like
everything else. Why think they will somehow ever go down, really? I just
don't like the lies that the right has for spending money on wars and
neglecting the infrastructure of America. Rebuild America first before you
use terror and fear on nation building.

WOW!   It's not that you will be 'sharing'.   They will be TAKING!     If
you want to give to causes that you think that are important to you,
wonderful!    But that's not what pelosi, reid, murtha, schumer or Obama

rules that you will have to obey, and penalities if you don't.    Don't fool

I lived and thrived during the Clinton years as did most Americans. How do
you fool yourself in thinking it will somehow be different? Anything but
Bush and his lies and plans to continue his war crimes against humanity. Do
you actually think it is better to bomb Iran rather than work for peace? Do
you really think it is fine to allow israel to continue to build illegal
settlements on land they have no claim to? When you guys wake up and stop
the crimes of these war mongers and stand up to the real terrorists in the
ME then there will be a path to real peace. Bush goes there and spews more
hate and you think he is somehow doing everyone a favor?

Clinton had to deal with a slim dem majority for the first two years and a
republican majority in the last 6.    Talk is that Pelosi will have a 60
seat majority and Reid with the magic number of 60+ seats (filibuster
proof).    It will be more like CARTER!

As for other statements, you really think Iran wants peace?     That was the
same folly Nevell Chamberlin made before WWII, he thought he could talk
Hitler into peace, he thought he did, he was wrong.     Iran and libs are
the same, they don't want peace, they want victory, they want to destroy
their enemies.     You hate Israel, that fine, that puts you in line with
Iran who wants to destroy Israel because that's what their religion tells
them to do.

Bush didn't spead hate, he spread truth, and truth hurts.

Wrong as usual. You have no way of knowing what the Dems will bring to
America. Carter was a world away from what is going on now. Iran and all
Arabs want peace and will only come when the Palestinian rights are
restored. Have you even listened to Iran? This is all they talk about. Iran
does not want to conquer anyone. They want the theft of Arab land to stop.
Israel has refused to abide by the UN and continues to expand settlements. I
don't hate Israel any more than anyone. You would just love to believe that
is so. Iran has stated that they want to see Israel wiped off the map.
Palestine was on that map but is now gone. Palestine has been wiped off the
map, no?  Iran's beliefs do not say that anyone should be treated as the
Arabs have been. For everything that can be said about Islam extremists the
same can be said about the Jews and the Xians in the same words and actions.

Bush spread hate and lies about appeasement. Are you one that actually
doesn't know the meaning of the word? Many on the right have also called for
talks with Iran and Hamas. Are you also to stupid to know this too? You are
an idiot for sure and you have made that clear.

Janice, I can come up with an amusing quip, I'll just ask a few questions.

How does ending the war increase the supply of gas?
How does a windfall profit tax increase the supply of gas or lower the price
of gas?
How come a ignorant bitch thinks she knows that I don't exercise by walking
at least 1.5 miles a day?
How can Janice be so stupid over the facts of diabetics.

If you don't know the answers to the first two, that's okay, no liberal

And for every teacher, firefighter and cop who make over 40 thousand,
there are thousands who make under 20 thousand.  Compared to people

Wait till January when 50,000,000 illegals are made citizens. It costs
$22 billion a year for section 8 housing alone. That will double when
the illegals can get section 8 housing and welfare. The *welfare*
state currently costs $650 billion a year, double that starting in
January. Anyone making over minimum wage will be considered *rich*.

America will change in January when the socialists come to power. And
it doesn't matter which of the 3 are elected. The Feds will control
*all* water rights in this country HR.2421. WPT S.2991. The formation
of the Central Committee for all industry and agriculture S.2191.

You will hardly recognize this country in two years.

but its not wealth if you're putting kids through college or have
massive medical bills....so wait a moment and consider your words.
65k is not wealthy, you're one step away from bankruptcy if you have a

off the coast of Florida and Maine?

What we need on the time line that it would take to see any increase in oil
flow would be steps to get away from our dependency of all oil. I bet that
if Bush agreed to allow drilling in his back  yard many would think better
of him. Naaa......To late for that.

first off, any talk of being freed from foriegn oils is a pipe drean, and we
will always need oil.    it would have been better if in the 90's clinton
would agree to drilling in anwr and in kansas.

first ANWR was created expressly for drilling oil.    Second, we have new
tech to be kinder in drilling.     You are just being paranoid.

Wahaha.......You are a loon.
http://arctic.fws.gov/

Show me where it mentions oil. ANWR=Arctic
National Wildlife Refuge

Perhaps the most unique feature of the refuge is that large-scale ecological
and evolutionary processes continue here, free of human control or
manipulation. A prominent reason for establishment of the Arctic Refuge was
the fact that this single protected area encompasses an unbroken continuum
of arctic and subarctic ecosystems. Here, one can traverse the boreal forest
of the Porcupine River plateau, wander north up the rolling tiaga uplands,
cross the rugged, glacier-capped Brooks Range, and follow any number of
rivers across the tundra coastal plain to the lagoons, estuaries, and
barrier islands of the Beaufort Seas coast, all without encountering an
artifact of civilization.

Just what part of  "free of human control or manipulation" do you have a
hard time understanding?

Getting There . . .
Vast and wild, the Arctic Refuge remains roadless. Limited access is
provided by the Dalton Highway (a gravel road) which passes the western tip
of the refuge. The Arctic Refuge is a very remote area. Be prepared to
handle any situation completely on your own. Most of the refuge is
accessible only by aircraft. From Fairbanks, many visitors take a commercial
flight to Fort Yukon, Arctic Village, Deadhorse or Kaktovik, and charter a
smaller bush plane into the refuge from there.

What happens when you build roads and pipelines? Do you have one clue or
are you just that stupid? Bush has already admitted that the Polar Bears are
disappearing like has been reported for a long time.

When Bush allows drilling off the coast of Florida then get back to me.
Until then maybe you will actually begin to understand how stupid your
statement "first ANWR was created expressly for drilling oil." really is.

Not if you think that drilling on protected land is the same as drilling in
a pile of sand in the ME. Don't they owe America something for the deaths of
unwitting soldiers? Protected land is just that. When Bush agrees to drill
in Maine and Florida get back to me.

> But you can no longer bitch about the high price of gas.

Bush should have never started a war for oil that ended up finding the ME
in chaos and unwilling to help with the burden brought on the world. Where
is the payment from that Iraqi oil that was promised by Bush? America put up
lives as collateral and only ended in collateral damage. Bush said oil will
pay for the rebuilding of Iraq. When do the families of the dead troops get
their cut?

> You wanted it that way.

The right made it that way. Clinton handed you guys a surplus that Bush
quickly squandered. What has Bush done for America but made the nation and
the entire world less safe?

AGAIN ASSWIPE!   The plot reserved for drilling in ANWR is wasteland!
There are no trees, no plants, no animals (execpt for those migrating on
there at the time).    But your side (who thinks they know everything) feel
it's not right to reduce our need for saudi oil.

[quoted text clipped - 5 lines]

Now you are really showing that you really have nothing. No one denies that
Clinton balanced the budget and paid off the debt incurred by the rigth. It
happens every time the right loses. "It's the economy stupid" was directed
at Bush I and resulted in his one term. "no new taxes" while he increased
taxes at a record rate. Every time the right has control there is a
recession. You have to go back 30 years to Carter to proe otherwise.

> You want $6 gas.
>
> You are going to get it.

Thanks to Bush and his war crimes that resulted in destabilizing the ME
prices will continue to rise? Where is the funding that Bush promised that
would pay for the rebuilding of Iraq. Who is doing the rebuilding and who is
really paying for it? Bush was the only president to lower taxes during war
time and only benefited the top 2%. You rather blame the left for the crimes
of the right when the left has only held a small advantage in the
government. Soon there will be no threat of a veto and you have no one to
blame that on but Bush himself. How are you going to explain that away?

When will you have the balls to address what I have continually asked you

DemonCraps never fix *anything*. They continuously and repeatedly f.ck
things up over and over again. Case in point:  The Great Society. It
was noble in it's purpose, to uplift the lives of millions of blacks.
What happened? Blacks were made a ward of the state and still remain
so. The DemonCraps destroyed the black family. Look at the family
structure of ghetto blacks? Where is papa? in prison instead of being
at home. The whole system is designed to have the man absent from
raising the kids. Very few women can control a teenage boy, or girl
for that matter. What happens? they join gangs, drop out of school,
kill one another, do drugs, and wind up in prison.

You can place the blame squarely on the DemonCraps. They've never even
tried to fix it, why? Because forcing these people to work would
actually empower them and the mght possibly lose their votes. The
DemonCraps continuously string them out promising more elixir and more
in exchange for their votes.

It's a *f.cked* up way to run a country. That is part of what I mean

You DemonCraps f.cked it up, and every time the Republicans tried to
fix it, veto or filibuster.

Yep, just look at what they did to racist, red-necked,
ignorant slave owners and southern bigots for a century

>You make a claim that McCain was a traitor

Of course that's nonsense.

McCain is an American hero

But it's tiresome to be told how much of a hero he was
by him.

He's going to be defeated---not because his heroism
wasn't real---but because conservatism is a dying and
thoroughly discredited political ideology as it's been
practiced since Nixon.

Nixon subverted government

Reagan was a lying sack of sh.t who didn't give a rat's
a.s about anything but the rich and how HE would be
looked at after he turned american into a wasteland of
personal destruction.

HE abided the religous reich, made it "okay" to exhibit
racism again, pitted regions against each other, and
lied (perjury, actually) to the american people, the
Grand Jury---

Then the two clown Bush's are what started conservatism
to it's eventual demise---the stupidity and lying of
BOTH.

And that would buy us one more year of oil, tops, ten years from now.

Do you dittoheads have any ACTUAL solutions to any problems... or do you
just spout Rush's talking points like a parrot?

Ahh stupid question.  Rush feeds you "solutions" that doesn't require
any personal sacrifices.

Driving a smaller vehicle does.

I looked at building a still in my backyard at one time. Couldn't
figure a way around the ATF requirements. I planned on using the *hot*
Texas sun to cook my ethanol. Damn, solar and bio-fuels. Do I feel
like eating quiche? not a chance. I calculated it would cost about $.
50 a gallon to make ethanol to supplement my gas purchases.

Must be your fuzzy math genius. There are plenty of farms that show exactly
what a moron you actaully are.

Now that you have the opportunity to learn something maybe you can post
back with exactly how you see these enterprises will fail. However everyone
knows you will not and can not address anything in the world of reality. You
will most likely reply with your usual rant that offers nothing of meaning
value. Why do you willingly chose to remain to stupid? Does Rush tell you
how to think?

Thats interesting... now what solutions are righties offering that
aren't bandaids?

And yes drilling one years worth of oil in ANWR is a bandaid, not a
solution.

I offer an actual solution.. well two now...  Raise the CAFE standards
substantially NOW, and lower the interstate speed limits NOW.

PROBLEM SOLVED IN TWO YEARS.  We would need ZERO terrorist oil.

It would require real sacrifices by most all pompous spoiled Americans
(Dems included).  Even myself, I hate driving slow on interstates, but
would do it if that were the law.

It will never happen.  Why do you think that is, Einstein?

Exactly!

I drive a Toyota Echo.  While I'm not exactly thrilled about the price
of gas, I still only pay about $50  for a fill-up every three weeks or
so.

But you should hear the rightards driving SUVs and pickups bitch and
whine.

Hey, if you decide to drive a tank to work, don't expect any sympathy
from me.  You can't handle the price of gas?  DITCH THE SUV.

Won't happen.  That would require personal responsibility and sacrifice.

Righties want OTHER PEOPLE to do that... not themselves.

LOL!  Even if they did, it would only lower prices by about 50 cents a
barrel.

The only reason they're talking about it is the oil companies want to
get their hands on that sweet, sweet oil.
