The comments after the article are interesting too.

Imho,  as previously noted more than once by me, it is my conjecture
that the mass of Arabs actually knows next to nothing about the
alleged genocide, and I perceive the article suggests such.

What does the article mean or imply to you?

eg from the article
"People say 'the Arabs or Muslims - cannot do this - it did not happen' -
but they did do this and it did happen - and they have to reconcile
themselves to the fact."

So, obviously, Arabs and Americans have a lot in common. BOTH are in gross
denial about what they are actually capable of, and what they have actually
done to cause harm to other people in other lands.

One thing they do not have in common is a commonality of government.

Americans are being compared to 'arabs'. The usual bullshit demand is
that all arabs act as one and think as one and so all share the
responsibility . As I say, the usual bullshit or if not then no one
anywhere can sit on any moral high ground.

Even 'arabs' being a part of the Darfur situation is forced:

It is important to distinguish the Sudanese Arab from other Arabs of the
Middle East. Sudanese Arabs are descended primarily from the ancient
Nubians. In terms of racial origin, it is not clear what specific racial
or ethnic group the Nubians originated from. Over a period of centuries,
Arab immigration into the Sudan, intermarriage among Nubians and Arabs,
and the introduction of Islam and the Arabic language, Arabised the
Nubians into the Sudanese Arab of today. In appearance, the Nubians look
similar to the Ethiopians and Eritreans; at one point, they shared a
common history with the latter.

Let us be honest, Darfur would not be in the news as much as it is if

1) Blood libel was not able to be pinned on 'arabs'
2) The West was not doing what they are and have been doing in the Middle
East.

As far as denial goes, as far as "knowing next to nothing", when it comes
to the Middle East.... give me a break! This would be funny if it were
not so pathetic.

Oddly self contradictory, as Al Jazeera is THE international "Arab
Media".

It is worthy of note that local News services across the uk ignore
Darfur, whereas the International arm of the BBC does sometimes cover
it,
