That sounds like a declaration of total war to me.

Exactly what the Palestinians have been doing for decades. Which of course
fully justifies the measures the Israeli Defense Forces have been using.

The status quo will remain as it is until the Palestinians get serious bout
negotiating. Probably that will be after Arafat dies.

In the meantime, the Israelis will continue to do what they need to survive
the unjustified attacks of the irrational members of Palestinian society.

Had Arafat accepted the deal he was offered, this killing would have been a
thing of the past and both nations would be on the way to becoming good
places to raise children.

p.s. if israel occupied california... would i be unjustified in attacking
them? then why are the palestinian peoples unjustified in attacking the
people that have occupied the land vouchsafed to them by the united nations
in the 1947 partition of palestine.

p.p.s. gee... a nation where israel controls the airspace and water
supply... what a sweet offer. i'm sure the people of palestine were just
drooling for that scenario.

That would depend on whether or not California had been consistently
used as a base from which to mount attacks on Israeli civilians.

even if israel was funding those attacks?

cheers!
Doc

Israel funded arab militant groups for 20 years.
www.indybay.org/news/2002/06/132088.php

Israel has puppeted arab groups before.
http://www.washington-report.org/backissues/1298/9812057.html

israel has killed their own before.  http://www.ukar.org/orr01.htm

even the u.s. gov't agrees... that israel likes to dress up as arabs.
http://www.public-action.com/911/sams.html

israelis also like to celebrate after attacks on america instead of catching
the obviously israeli perpetrators beforehand.... a headscarf on your head
and a koran in your hand is not half as damning as the israeli practice of
getting drunk at stripclubs before getting onstage and acting like arabs.

Let's see, are you speaking for the Native Americans who originally owned
California, or for the Spaniards/Mexicans who controlled it before we
conquered it from Mexico. You're an idiot. Like the irrational PLO
leadership, Hamas leadership, and the rest. They know nothing except getting
others to die for them, and they will continue to be that way until they die
and their children (hopefully) will decide the killing has gone on too long.

Roughly half the population of Israel consists of Jews whose familes lived
for centuries in other parts of the middle east. These are people who had to
leave their homes or die - because of the Arabs and other muslims who
rejected them. Sort of like the Kurds in north Iraq around the oil wells who
Saddam removed and replaced with Sunnis.

The Israelis aren't leaving. The Palestinians are living in a dream world or
on drugs to think otherwise. Their choice is to negotiate an end to the
violence or continue their idiotic suicide attacks while eliminating any
chance theyb have to build a decent life for thier families.

Right. Suicide bombers will get them that. Yeah, sure. That is about as
rational as bin Laden or Jerry Falwell or any of the other fundamentalists
and Fascists/Communists.

As long as the PLO refuses to negotiate in good faith, they will have
nothing except death and suicide - which is what their current leadership
wants.

Until some rational Palestinian leaders take over, the Israelis will simply
have to continue giving them what they want - death and suicide.
Unfortunately, Araffat and his ilk are dragging down the roughly 90% of
peace-loving decent Palesitnians with them. Until the Palestinians decide to
get rational (liek the Soviet Communists finally did in 1989) there is
nothing the Israelis can do except what they are doing now.

You are one of those people who blame the Polish people for WW II because
they shot back when the Germans attacked them. That is exactly what you are
doing here to the Israelis. You are blaming them for defending themselves
against the aggressors.

There's also the little problem that the Arabs have set a standard for
military ineptitude that makes the WWII French and Italians look like
Patton's Third Army. Seems highly unlikely to me that they will be able to
remove the Israelis.

And where, I wonder, is his criticism of the Palestinians' "Arab brothers"
who keep hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in concentration camps,
rather than letting them settle in other Arab nations? Somehow, that's
okay...
