There was recently an appeal to the privy council by an environmental group trying to stop construction of a dam in Belize. The privy council (I believe) ruled in favour of the Belize government and allowed them to continue construction.

A search of Google gives lots of references to a "six-pip" GMT time signal. Here in the UK, I seem to remember a time when it was only 5-pips and there was a bit of a fuss made when it changed to 6-pips. Can any other UK listener remember when the change was made?
