How did China first get the ability to make nuclear weapons?  Did the
Soviets give it to them?
When did they first get it?

Its in there.  After defeating local rivals in the japanese civil war
period, The japanese warlord,  Toyotomi Hideyoshi, launched an invasion
of korea and china.  It was a pretty lunatic undertaking, considering
he didn't have a real navy, and the campaign failed partly for that.

Why are Russia and China doing military exercises together?

Probably not the right place to post this comment .... but what does
anyone else think about the way computer use is taking over public
libraries in the UK? I just want to be able to go into a library &
browse the books.

Which countries around the world can still lay claim to this title?
Also, what criteria constitutes a valid claim for the sun never setting on
an "empire"?  How do protectorates, commonwealths, military bases,
Embassies, etc. fit into the equation?
