WI different mainstream political consensus in the US?31 Dec 2005 20:07 GMT50
Now we know that in OTL the US's political consensus is in favor of
active organized religion in politics, paranoid about race(white/black
interracial marriages are still a VERY small number. And before you
mention asians/hispanics let me remind that they're considered honorary
*Johnny E. Hoover31 Dec 2005 15:57 GMT1
J. Edgar Hoover's story can be seen as one of the power-corruption
variety.  When he started he really did want to make America safer, but
pretty soon he used and abused his power to get dirt on almost every
political player in Washington and did a fair amount of dirty tricks.

POD:  Kaiser Wilhelm has a traumatic experience on a Navy ship as a boy,
and as a result grows up with an irrational and permanent dislike of the
Navy.  Using the power of being Kaiser, he manages to keep the German
Navy a pretty small an unimportant part of Germany's armed ...

I just completed some Boxing Day wargaming with a friend of mine and we
were refighting the opening campaign of World War I. (We were playing
Decision Games' "The Shlieffen Plan" for those that are interested in
such things)

who metioned about psi and why judge Titor?31 Dec 2005 03:14 GMT1
why should we judge titor and wat he had talked about. I have found
lots of events over where I live that leads to the wars he talked
about.  And psi is energy, so if you think it is some object, you are
utterly mistaken.  And time is not an object or something to
Aaron Burr Becomes Prez After Shooting Hamilton31 Dec 2005 00:33 GMT1
POD:  On July 11, 1804 Thomas Jefferson has a heart attack and dies at dusk.
This is also the same day that Aaron Burr shot and killed Hamilton in a
duel.  In OTL New York and New Jersey charged Burr with murder.  What
will they do to President Burr?  Will he be impeached?  If so, ...
WI: The U.S. had occupied Germany 1918-193330 Dec 2005 16:19 GMT11
What if we had occupied Germany for 15 or 20 years?
Would World War II have happened anyway?

WI Different Marx- whither the world?30 Dec 2005 12:02 GMT2
For whatever psychological reason, Karl Marx becomes a businessman
instead
of father of Communism. Lives and dies in a Germany of rising economic
expectations. As a result, no Marxism as we know it.
An Extra 10 Years of Augustus30 Dec 2005 08:32 GMT10
POD:  Caesar Augustus is even more healthy than in OTL and lives an
extra 10 years, dying at the age of 87.  That's old for the time, but
not impossibly so.  Any major effects from an extra 10 years of his rule?
Any chance he might do anything that would change the thinking of a

WI US refused to "de-recognize" the ROC in Taiwan?30 Dec 2005 00:10 GMT6
WI the US stuck to Nixon's initial preference of a 2 China's policy,
preferring to treat China and Taiwan as two separate states, who
happened to have Chinese culture and the name China in their names,
like East and West Germany, or North and South Yemen.
Canada's WWI Trust Teritory29 Dec 2005 23:33 GMT6
There was some talk at the end of WWI of Canada getting some territory
as a trustee.  This never came about because no one really pushed for
it, but let us supose that the Canadian PM gets a bee in his bonet and
really wants a colony/trust teritory for the Greatness Of Canada!  ...
