Imagine that a man goes home and shoots his wife and throws her out of the house. She goes to the police. The police come to the man's house and the man barricades himself in the house and shoots at the police. The police end up invading the man's home and killing him.

Hi, I am somewhat new to this group so I hope this has not been asked a lot. In any case is there any books regarding black confederate soldiers? I know there were some, but is there any information about where they fought, when and under what conditions?

I'm taking a civil wargasm trip in August and trying to do the following battlefields/sites: Gettysburg, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Manassas, and Harpers Ferry. I'm sure there are numerous museums, etc, all around these battlefields, but ...
