Did the Brits have any plans drawn for a possible surrender?
I know Churchill made famous speech's that they would never surrender but
was it ever discussed among his military advisors.
And if they had surrendered they would have had to only relinquish their

After Pearl, Churchill came to the US and addressed Congress in December
1941, then travelled to Canada, then back home.
What mode of transport did he use on each leg of the trip?

I expect petroleum products produced in Ploesti, Romania, were utilized by
German forces advancing on Stalingrad etc, however...

DEar friends,
Argentina I believe had the closest relations with nazi Germany
during the period 1939- 1944 as well as the post war period. ( but
that's another story)

Saw an interesting (german, ZDF I think ) documentary on a german guy
that managed to survive D-Day in WN62 meeting his former adversary.
After searching a bit on the web I found that on the first day at
Omaha the US army evacuated 66 german POW's. In all the books I read

lawyer like those at Nuremburg. (some were acquitted)
