Supplying the Soviet Union27 Feb 2006 15:29 GMT11
Why were not all supplies sent to the Soviets via Iran and why did the

Optimal rate of fire.25 Feb 2006 00:41 GMT88
I have a question for the technically minded among us.  I'm

The simple minded notion is, the higher the better.  But that
surely must be too simple.  Other factors to consider must
Scots and Welsh Nationalist Attitudes to the War24 Feb 2006 16:22 GMT7
What was the attitude of Scottish and Welsh nationalists to the war?
Did they mostly support it or see it as an opportunity to get rid of

Soviet raids on Stockholm24 Feb 2006 06:45 GMT9
Currently reading Goebbels' diary, I found a mention of 20-30 Soviet
bombers attacking Stockholm (24 February 1944, though it might be a few

itself).
French (and other contries) Resistance24 Feb 2006 06:00 GMT18

Does anybody know whether there are still archives from WWII, from
any of the participating countries, that are still sealed, or available
to  only a limited number of government and/or military personnel?
If so,  from which country? When (If ever) will they become

Hello, I have been a "lurker" for some weeks now and have enjoyed the
informative posts to shww-w-ii.  You people really seem to know your stuff.
I have a question about whether hospitals were built in the US to
accommodate expected casualties from invasion of the Japanese homelands ...
